Meet the Team

With a strong commitment to high-quality early childhood education, instructional excellence, and meaningful family partnerships, Dr. Malone leads The Discovery Preschools as Executive Director. She holds a Doctor of Education in Curriculum and Instruction and a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership, bringing a wealth of experience.

Her diverse background as a teacher, assistant principal, instructional facilitator, and national speaker, with expertise in curriculum development, personalized instruction, and educator growth. Before joining The Discovery Preschools, Dr. Malone led a team of more than 100 educators supporting over 1,600 students. Her experience building strong instructional programs and supporting teachers directly informs the ongoing growth of our schools. With a focus on curriculum alignment, instructional practices, and professional development to ensure children receive a thoughtful, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning experience.

Dr. Malone is also a parent of two young daughters, both part of the Discovery community, and values the trust families place in our schools. She is proud to support a leadership team that ensures continuity in daily operations across both campuses.

Beth is a seasoned professional dedicated to Early Childhood Education with over 38 years of experience in the field.  She has a B.S. in General Education and a Minor in Psychology from Towson State University.  Her lifelong commitment to ECE is what brought her to The Discovery Preschools in November 2023 as the Enrollment Director.  Drawn to the school’s shared dedication to excellence in shaping the educational journey of young learners and connecting families with the nurturing environment of The Discovery Preschools.

Beyond her professional endeavors, Beth’s personal life is marked by meaningful experiences, including the adoption of her son, Matthew, from Mongolia in 1999.  This profound journey not only expanded her family but also enriched her perspective on parenthood and cultural diversity.  In 2023, Beth had the extraordinary opportunity to return with her son to Mongolia, creating unforgettable memories and deepening their connection to his heritage.

Beth is originally from New Jersey but now resides in New Hope, PA with her husband Ed and son Matthew.

With over 18 years of experience in the field of childcare and education, Holly has seamlessly transitioned from roles as a private nanny, Kids Club Coordinator at the Newtown Athletic Club, and classroom teacher to her current position as the Director of Newtown Discovery Preschool. Her commitment to professional growth and excellence led her to earn her Child Development Associate Credential from Ashworth College.

As a lifelong resident of Newtown, PA, Holly’s continued connection to her hometown is evident as she resides in her childhood home with her husband and three children.

Sarah Moss holds bachelor’s degrees in both psychology and education from Ursinus College. With over 5 years of experience in the childcare industry, she is deeply committed to her profession. Working with children brings Sarah immense joy, and she is dedicated to enriching their school experiences.

Sarah’s journey began at Newtown Discovery Preschool, where she served as the lead teacher in the preschool classroom. Transitioning into a full-time administrative role, she gained comprehensive knowledge of the school’s operations. Sarah assumed the position of assistant director, and has since been promoted to the role of Director of People Operations. 

Originally from Bucks County, Sarah resides there with her husband, Will, and their dog, Alpha. Beyond her professional endeavors, she enjoys spending leisure time at the park with her loved ones.
